DMC pearl cotton thread (color of choice), Size 5, in
desired colors
Size 4 steel crochet hook
Instructions:
Using a double thread throughout, ch 5, join with sl st
to form ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3, dc in ring, (ch 2 2 dc in ring) 4 times; ch
2 join with sl st to top of beg ch-3.
Rnd 2: Sl st in next dc and ch-2 sp; ch 3, dc in same sp,
ch 2, 2 dc in same sp-first corner shell made; (ch 1, in next ch-2 sp
make shell of 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) 4 times;ch 1, join with sl st to top of
beg ch-3. Rnd 3: Sl st in next dc and ch-2 sp; ch 3 and make a first
corner shell; ch-1, 2 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, (shell in next ch-2 sp,
ch-1, 2 dc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1) 4 times. Join with sl st to top of
beg ch-3, Fasten off.
Point:
Row 1: Attach thread in any ch-2 corner sp, ch 1, sc in
same sp, (sc in next 2 dc and ch-sp) 3 times; ch 3, slst in third ch
from hook- point made, turn. Row 2-8: Sk first sc, sc across; ch 3, sl
st in third ch from hook, turn. Row 9: Sk first sc, sl st in next sc.
Fasten off. Rep rows 1-9 rows four times around.
